Our partner in the MCM program is Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
The Newhouse School at Syracuse University was named on behalf of Samuel I. Newhouse, a pioneer in the communications industry and founder of such renown organizations as Condé Nast, Fairchild Publications, Parade, and 26 daily newspapers around the United States. Newhouse embraces virtually every known form of information dissemination from print journalism to broadcast journalism to online communication and from advertising and public relations to photography and film. The computer and the Internet figure prominently in the curricula throughout the major areas of study and through a variety of elective courses in computer-based, interactive multimedia. The facility is predominantly digital for capturing and editing sound, still pictures, and moving images.
Nevertheless the written word and the good idea occupy a preeminent position in all disciplines.
